UNITECH Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Sung-ho and Park Ik-soon), a Korean adhesive material company, announced on March 23 that it was selected as the best company in materials, parts, and equipment by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
The best company in materials, parts, and equipment refers to the company with outstanding technology and future growth potential in the top 100 strategic technologies selected by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Since Japan's export restrictions to Korea in July 2019, the government has granted this to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic materials, parts, and equipment industry. For 5 years, the best company in materials, parts, and equipment is entitled to receive customized support for the entire cycle of technology development, commercialization, and global expansion at the government-wide level.
UNITECH, which was selected as the 3rd best company, has contributed to the development of Korea's adhesive material industry since its establishment in 1999 and holds the world's biggest share in the energy (LNG carrier) industry. In particular, it is expanding its global client base in its main business, i.e., structural/ultra-low temperature adhesive materials.
UNITECH is diversifying its business portfolio by entering the battery industry through the best company support program. In addition, it plans to grow into a global chemical material company by providing solutions in mobility, energy, and electrical and electronic fields.
